Albemarle Kart Club Association

Thank you for coming to our track web site. Albemarle Kart Club Association was established in 1978 for the enjoyment of go-kart racing for the young and the young at heart. The races are held on scheduled Saturday nights at the Dixeland Motor Sports Complex near South Mills, NC. The track is listed as a WKA Master Track as well as being known as a "Drivers" track. It is said that if you can drive it at the Albemarle Oval you can drive it any where. Our members are from North Carolina as well as Virginia and we have a variety of classes to suit any karting enthusiast .

Thank You to all of our members and guests for their generous and heartfelt donations given at the July 12th race to the family of the 15 year old boy who was fatally injured during qualifying for the 4 wheeler event at Dixieland Speedway.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
