Albemarle Kart Club Association

AKCA is the longest running kart club on the east coast.  Established in 1978 for the enjoyment of go-kart racing for the young and the young at heart. The races are held on scheduled Saturday nights at the Dixeland Motor Sports Complex near South Mills, NC. The track is known as a "drivers" track. It is said that if you can drive it at the Albemarle Oval you can drive it any where. Our members are from North Carolina as well as Virginia and we have a variety of classes to suit any karting enthusiast. You don't have to be member to race at the track. Come join us!
